Verify an evidence file
If you have received a photo or video from a CommunityIQ evidence bundle, you can check here that it has not been changed since the platform recorded it.
🔒 Your file is checked inside your own browser and is never uploaded. Only its digital fingerprint, a 64-character code, is compared with the platform record.
or paste a SHA-256 digital fingerprint
How this works
When a resident submits a photo or video, the platform records its digital fingerprint: a unique code calculated from the file itself, not a person’s fingerprints. Changing even one pixel produces a completely different code, so a match shows the file is exactly what was received. The method is SHA-256 (US NIST standard FIPS 180-4), the same standard banks and governments use to prove files and transactions have not been altered. The platform never reveals the report content, location or anyone’s identity on this page.
