About this platform
A service of the Tunapuna Station Community Council
This site runs on CommunityIQ, a civic reporting platform built by Doyen Civic Solutions Ltd. It is a simple way for residents to tell the Tunapuna Station Community Council about issues in the community, and to follow what happens next. It is run by the council, for the people of Tunapuna.
What you can report
The platform handles the everyday issues that affect community life:
- Crime and suspicious activity
- Streetlights that are out or damaged
- Drainage problems and flooding
- Illegal dumping
- Public safety hazards
- Anything else that needs the council's attention
How to report
You can report an issue here on the website in about a minute. The platform is also being set up for WhatsApp and SMS reporting, so that everyone can reach the council in the way that suits them, whether or not they use the web.
What happens after you report
Every report gets a tracking number. The council reviews it and sends it to the right place: the council itself for community matters, the Tunapuna Police Station for crime and safety, or the Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation for drainage and roads. As the work moves along, the status is updated, and you can check it any time using your tracking number.
Working together
This platform is a partnership. The Tunapuna Station Community Council runs it and manages every report. The Tunapuna Police Station receives the reports that concern crime and safety. The Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation receives community data that helps plan repairs and services. Working from the same information helps the three bodies respond faster and fairer.
Your privacy
You can report anonymously or share your details so the council can follow up. Either way, you get a tracking number. Reports about crime and personal safety are kept private and never shown on the public map. You can read the full privacy policy and terms of use at any time.
About the council
The Tunapuna Station Community Council is a voluntary body of residents and stakeholders who work alongside the Tunapuna Police Station, the Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation, and other state agencies to improve safety, infrastructure, and quality of life across the Tunapuna catchment. The council meets regularly, listens to community concerns, and coordinates with the agencies best placed to act on them.
CommunityIQ is the council’s reporting and intelligence platform. It gives residents a single, trusted place to report what they see, gives the police and the Regional Corporation the information they need to respond, and gives the community visibility into how those responses unfold.
Details of the council’s current leadership, sub-committees, and meeting calendar will be added here as they are confirmed for publication.
